Medium Fresh Fir:

This Fir Bark has a bight red/orange almost rustic tone. Traditionally used to make your landscape plants stand out. Work well in mature settings, also clings to sloped areas.

Fine Fresh Fir:

This Fir Bark looks like the medium fresh fir in color but is screened to a much finer size. It provides a consistent fine texture, best for native acid soil loving plants.

Fine Dark Fir:

This dark fir bark is an aged bark that is a dark brown to black color. It has moisture holding properties and a more neutral pH than the Fresh Fir Barks.

Medium Fresh Hemlock:

Fresh Hemlock Bark is a premium fresh ground product with a cinnamon red color. It smells sweeter than the fir bark and does not produce as many slivers making it more pleasant to handle.

Medium Dark Hemlock:

Dark Hemlock Bark is a premium aged and ground product that is much darker in color. Holds more moisture and a more neutral pH than the Fresh Hemlock Bark. It doesn't produces as many slivers making it more pleasant to handle.

Small Nuggets 3/8”-3/4”:

These Mini-Bark Nuggets are small fir bark chips that have the fines removed. This material is a very clean and formal look, giving small shrubs a beautiful backdrop. Nuggets take longer to break down, also due to there size they stay in place in windy coastal areas.

Medium Nuggets 1”- 2”:

These Medium Bark Nuggets are the same as the Small Nuggets but is screened to a larger size. They take the longest to break down than any other bark that we carry. Also due to there size they stay in place when blowing your leaves of when they fall.

Cedar Chips:

Cedar Chips are cedar wood pieces or flakes that range from 1/2” to 3” in length. Fines have been removed to maximize drainability and durability.
 

Premium Pathway Bark:

Pathway Bark is a ground bark with a wide variety of particle sizes to knit together well and form a stable path material, or it can be used as a ground cover.

Hog Fuel:

Hog Fuel is 100% Recycled stumps. Excellent when used for covering wet areas, erosion control, pathways or temporary road base, low cost alternative for mud control.

Garden Mulch/Compost:

The best compost product at the best price. Our yard debris derived compost is stable, black and beautiful with natural slow release nutrients to grow healthy plants for several years. Premium Garden Mulch is made from well-aged and turned composted green grass, brush, leaves and woody fines to strike the perfect balance of drainage and water retention, nutrients and biological stability, and ease of use. This product is screened through a 1/2” mesh to create a black, free flowing compost product. We test our products to assure slow release nutrients are available and to determine land
application rates for different crops.

Mushroom Compost:

Mushroom Compost is made from straw and added organic nutrients that are composted to grow edible mushrooms on by commercial growers. After the growing is done, the fresh compost ages further and is screened and finally ready for use.

 

Landscape Blend:

Landscape Blend provides a useful mix of Compost, fine dark fir bark, and Sand that results in a free draining, low nutrient, and fine textured soil with a slightly acid pH to support native and alpine plants and perennial herbs that like drier roots and lower nutrients.

Blended Soil “Premium”:

Blended Premium Garden Mulch, Mushroom Compost and Sandy Loam to make a perfect nutrient-rich soil blend for your favorite plants. Blended on-site with our soil screens, through a 1/2” mesh. This product is consistent and provides the basis for excellent growing conditions for your favorite plants.

Having the weeding and weed control products installed before our crew comes to your house.

You won’t want to schedule any window washing or cleaning before or during the time we are at your house blowing bark. It can be a dusty job while the bark is being blown on. Also make sure your neighbors haven’t scheduled any painting or cleaning if they are close by.

On the day we are going to be there make sure all your windows and doors are closed, turn off you’re A/C and your heat exchanger. Please make sure your sprinkler system is turned off the day before. If the sprinkler system turns on before we come it makes clean up much harder for our crew.

How far to the back yard were your bark is to be installed we have 200feet of hose on the truck and if you let us know how far it is we can bring extra hose.

Our trucks are large do you have room to park a truck in your driveway. Over head power lines and trees are things to look for. If we have to park in the street is it a busy street with limited excess will we need a flagger?

 

Its is a good idea to put your pets inside on the day we are scheduled to blow your bark. The gates will be open while we are there and the truck makes loud noise that the pets may not like.
